Carbon steel is mined from the source and hand selected for each blade. Each edge of the double sided blade is factory unsharpened for safety. It can be professionally sharpened for the avid collector or sword enthusiasts. For superior rigidity, a central ridge travels from the tip of the blade to the end of it.

At the base of the blade is an Accurate vinyl leather wrap. The cross guard is about 10 inches wide and features an original Chappe (Rain Guard). The carbon steel blade goes into the solid wooden handle that is wrapped with a formidable vinyl leather and stitched for absolute grip.
