Icelander’s Saga Functional Exceptional Quality Damascus Steel Outdoor Axe

Looking for an axe that can withstand the test of time? Well look no further. This functional handmade axe is constructed from excellent quality materials and is made to be used. The head of the axe is made from folding 1095/15N20 steels over and over approximately 350-360 times to create the gorgeous rippling affect you see here. The large crescent-shaped blade edge provides a larger cutting edge, and the slight slope of the blade allows downward strikes. The back of the axe head is flattened to serve as a hammer tool. A pure brass mosaic pin placed in the center of the eye creates a sturdier hold as well as a special touch. The handle is made from sheesham wood that had been smoothed, contoured, and covered with a sleek protective coating. A lanyard hole is provided to attach rope or cord. Included with this beauty is hand tooled genuine leather sheath that has been stained a rich dark brown and features three snap closures and a belt loop for easy secure carry.
