This blue speckled wooden scabbard has a black spattered texture. This sword stays with the traditional aspect of Japanese culture with its Sageo (cord) wrapping with a bull horn style which is used as a dual purpose for staying with the traditional look of the sword or for hanging. The black two dragon Tsuba (guard) design goes well with the detail at the Koiguchi (scabbard mouth) which is also black in color with an intricate art detailed Habaki (blade collar). The Tsuka (handle) features a traditional black nylon ITO braid which can be found on many authentic Japanese swords and has a beautiful contrast over the blue wooden handle. On the Kashira you can see two dragons; one on each side and down along the base. Overall Length: 39 inches.
